Ryohei Murakami, creator of StuioBOWL and long time BnA Collaborator, works with a concept he calls “remake & rebirth”. Using scrap materials and ready-made items, he repurposes these everyday objects into sculptures, furniture, interior and space design concepts.
An artist collective of 10, 81 BASTARDS is comprised of six painters, a tattoo artist, photographer, videographer and DJ.
Born in the same year (‘81) and early intense involvement in Tokyo's underground art scene, original members bonded over values, they felt were generational. Perhaps by some cosmic plan more “81 bastards “ with these same values joined the collective, with active members across Japan, Australia and the US.
